TAMPA BAY FILM

INDEPENDENT FILM JOBS AND AUDITIONS

Production Jobs - Auditions - Open Call - Collaborations

No money. No jobs. Not worth it. Yet.

Currently, it is our opinion that the Tampa Bay independent film scene is too weak, and not innovative enough, to have many worthwhile jobs, auditions, film roles, or even collaborations with Tampa Bay independent filmmakers. This will change once independent filmmaking in Tampa Bay is finally put on the map, and investors actually invest money into independent films so that the cast and crew can be paid, but until then, we will do what the Tampa Bay film commission and the large film festivals do when it comes to local indie filmmakers and independent films: We will humor them. We will also allow you to make up you mind, and choose for yourself, if these projects are worth your time. As time goes on, we hope to have some worthwhile jobs and auditions to post on our boards.
Our job and auditions boards will be launching in the Fall of 2014. Don’t expect most of the jobs to be paying ones, as most independent filmmakers in the 2014 Tampa Bay independent film scene don’t have any money to pay anyone with, and if they did, they probably would not, anyway. Are you a talented, professional, experienced indie film professional such as a Director of Photography, with a professional RED camera system, and hope to make a business out of providing services for independent films produced in Tampa Bay? Hope that you are patient, and that you have another way to make a living while things slowly improve.
